In 2021, Salmon was an artist in residence at ARTEXTE research centre, in Montreal where she worked collaboratively with Canadian poet Klara du Plessis on their project "Narrative of process: activating the artist’s book". Over 6 weeks they used Artexte's extensive archives to explore the relationship between text and image- resulting in their artist books 'Incipit', 'Scree' and 'Explicit' and online talk 'Sculpture Poem: In Conversation'.
